Recently I have been trying to figure out a way that I can photograph seals effectively while still showing enough of it environment with in the image. Its really tough! I was told to try and capture an image that looks nice on its own but made better by the fact it has a grey seal within it. I have not quite got there yet but Im working on it.

I think your efforts were well worth it. This shot works very well.
ReplyDeleteI love the muted, slippery colours of the seaweed, with the same shades reflected in the seal, I think you've caught the seal in its own environment perfectly.
